Hey Everybody,

Yesterday, the Blonde Coyote was Freshly Pressed for the fifth time! My water conservation post “The Weight of Water” caught somebody’s eye at WordPress and it was featured on the platform’s home page. Writing is meant to be read and in the past 24 hours, the Blonde Coyote has gotten a dizzying number of hits and welcomed a gaggle of new subscribers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everybody who has taken the time to read, comment on and pass along my posts! You guys are awesome. I hope that you’ve all been inspired to think more critically about the weight of water and, as always, to See More of the World.

If you’re new here, you might want to check out my Greatest Hits archives of my most popular posts (including my four previous Freshly Pressed posts) or the Archives A to Z. I’ve written over 300 posts in the past year and a half and while they’re not all on the desert and water conservation, my favorite themes of exploration, adventure, place and sustainability run rampant, whether I’m trekking up a disappearing glacierhitting the Alaskan Highway in a solar powered Teardrop camper or wrangling an alligator.

Thanks for reading! Follow the Blonde Coyote and see more of the world… Cheers, MCM

Curious about the Blonde Coyote? She’s a deaf coyote/ cattledog hybrid. Read more about her here.
